Do you have a vision in your mind that clearly outlines your greatest hopes and dreams? Do you have lofty goals for your career, health, social life, and relationships? Do you wish for things that you’re afraid you might not be able to make come true?

Well, today, I’m here to deliver one important message: Yes, you can.

You can be happy and prosperous; you can achieve the things that are most important to you; you can create the life you deserve.

Why is this such an important message? Because we all need to hear it once in a while.

Very often, we let that inner voice of negativity and self-doubt take over. It nags at us so strongly and persistently that we allow it to wear away at our self-confidence and sense of value until we’ve got nothing left to sustain us in our personal or professional lives.

In those moments of dejection, anxiety, and fear, we NEED a powerful countermeasure that lets us know we’re not alone . . . and that hope is not lost.

That is why I’m here today to tell you that YOU CAN DO IT.

Take a moment now to imagine what you want for your life. What are you excited about? What would you like to create? What is your ideal life picture? Get the image in your mind and really allow yourself to linger in that imagery for a while.

This is an important first step because sometimes we don’t even allow ourselves to dream fully—we’ve been so beaten down by our inner critic and our safety police that we can’t even enjoy our hopes and wishes. It literally hurts to want it. It hurts so bad, in fact, that we tell ourselves that we don’t really want those things for ourselves . . . or that we don’t really know what we want at all.

But that is not the case.

You DO know what you want, and you DO know what you need to do to accomplish it—and . . . you CAN do it.

So, what is that one thing that you’ve been dreaming of accomplishing? What is your one heart’s desire?

Whether it relates to your career, finances, family, or love life, it should be the one thing you would go after if you knew you couldn’t fail—the thing you’d grab at first if you had 100% unstoppable confidence.

Now, do you have that one ultimate goal in mind? Good—because my message still stands: YES, YOU CAN.

Whatever your goal, no matter how lofty, you can achieve it. You CAN make your dreams come true, and you CAN create the life that you want.

Even if you’re sitting there shaking your head because you think your ultimate goal is just a pipe dream, I know that you can accomplish it.

How do I know that, even without knowing you or your personal history? Because I’ve been down this road a thousand times, both personally and with countless clients . . . and if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that those doubts and fears—the voice in your head that tells you that you can’t—that’s just your safety

police talking.

Your safety police are always trying to predict the future so they can “keep you safe.” But all they’re really doing is keeping you in a bubble of misery where nothing ever happens and life never moves forward.

Fact: you can’t predict the future, and neither can your safety police. These worries that are supposed to keep you safe are simply fabricated stories. The only forces that are actually powerful enough to change your fate are the dueling forces in your head: the one that says, “Yes, I can,” and the one that says, “No, I can’t.”

That negative voice is just a compilation of characters that are there to hold you back.

These characters tell you that things are too risky; that you’ll fail; that you’ll be rejected and embarrassed and experience every other form of discomfort under the sun. It probably won’t surprise you to learn that this is not the inner voice of success.

People who create amazing things and live extraordinary lives do not listen to these voices . . . and neither should you.

You are the kind of person who CAN do amazing things. You’re here watching this channel, working to develop your confidence and move your life forward—you’ve proven that you already intrinsically know how to act on the positive voice that says, “Yes, I can!”

That other voice is just your fear talking. But if you continue to do this consistently—if you continue to confront your fears, dismiss those old stories, and perform the actions that move you forward—you will see exceptional results.

It won’t always be a joyride. Sometimes you’ll make great strides; but sometimes you’ll stumble and face rejection. Along the way, however, you will learn from each small step that you take, regardless of whether it’s forward or backward.

As you learn and grow, you’ll take bigger steps because you’ll face less and less fear of the unknown. You’ll slowly build up a tolerance to your fear and feel less discomfort when facing a new challenge. You’ll start to see those old, negative stories for what they really are: excuses to stay small and safe.

This process can be scary at first, but it’s also exciting and freeing. Keep taking action; keep learning and growing; keep gonig, no matter how frightening it might seem; and keep investing in your growth.

Consider this: no matter what you’re going through and no matter what you’re trying to achieve, someone has already done it.

The saying goes, “There’s nothing new under the sun.” And that’s GREAT news for you.

Not only do the successes of others prove to you that those successes are possible, but they also provide you with someone to learn from.

Do you have an idol out there—someone who’s achieved what you want to achieve in your life? Go get a mentorship from that person! Read their books; listen to their podcasts; immerse yourself in their world. This is a fantastic way to learn quickly while also taking meaningful actions toward your goal.

There are countless resources for your advancement available online and elsewhere, so go out and learn from the people who inspire you. In the meantime, however, I want you to take a moment right now to harness the gung-ho energy you’ve created during this discussion and write down everything you’ve imagined for yourself over the last few minutes (and how you feel about it).

Too often, we allow our safety police to push our excitement aside and stifle our ability to dream. Instead, take the time to write down your dreams so that you keep them fresh in your mind. Read them daily and remind yourself of how passionate you are about the things you want for yourself!

Please feel free to share your thoughts and questions below. What are you looking to create for yourself? What challenges do you face? What is holding you back from going after what you want? Let’s continue to share what we’ve learned with each other so that we can grow together exponentially.

Until we speak again, may you have the courage to be who you are and to know on a deep level that you’re awesome.
